We take care of ordering and receiving and coordinate with our trusted movers and installers to bring the vision to life.

This service is suited for those clients who wish to have a professional designer at their fingertips and have accessories and furnishings from Kardinia Home perfectly styled in their home! With our in-home styling service, you can sit back and relax while our designers transform your space. Our team will select pieces to complement your existing decor and create a cohesive look throughout your home.

This service includes:

A one hour consultation at your home to discuss your style preferences and budget
The creation of a plan for your space that includes include furniture and accessories
Professional white glove installation and styling

This service is suited for those clients outside of Winter Park, FL (or local clients) who are seeking expert advice and support from us from start to finish with new builds, remodels, renovation and furnishings projects. We can virtually walk through your space, organize your project, build design plans and moodboards for any space.

This service includes:

Concept presentation and virtual meeting
A curated design presentation and virtual meeting
Floor plans, lighting plans, elevations and renderings
Finish selections and samples (mailed to you with a pre-paid return label)
Construction Specifications Guide (if applicable)
Coordination with the contractor during the construction phase (if applicable)
Finishes and furnishings procurement

Studio Session

This service is suited for those who are seeking expert advice with a small design dilemma such as help deciding between a few paint colors, choosing between several wallpaper options, selecting window treatments and space planning. We have a variety of resources at our fingertips and are here to help! This session will help set you up for success so you can take the proper next steps with your project. In advance of booking this session, you'll fill out a questionnaire which will provide us with preliminary details around what help you're seeking so that we can be prepared. You'll then select a date and time that best suits your schedule.

We'll then ask you to prepare for your session by pulling together photos, inspiration images and measurements that might be helpful. One session covers 90 minutes of in studio meeting time with your designer and also includes preparation time so we can ensure a productive session.

Designer for a Day

This service allows a unique opportunity to collaborate and receive professional design guidance to elevate your space. During these more intensive consulting sessions, one of our designers will provide professional insights and innovative solutions to address your specific design challenges. Whether it's furniture selection, art curation, material choices, or spatial optimization, our expertise will guide you towards making informed decisions that align with your aesthetic aspirations. This service includes:

A personalized summary that outlines recommendations tailored to your space.

A choice of a 1/2 day session (3 hours) or full day session (5 hours) to take place in your home or in our studio.

The Kardinia Process

Our design process keeps everyone on track and informed, from concept to styling.

CONCEPT

TIMELINE: approximately 3-6 weeks from the project start date depending on scope of work.

Once the scope and goals are outlined, we begin creating the vision for your home using inspiration photos, mood boards, floor plans + elevations to convey the overall look and feel.

DESIGN

TIMELINE: approximately 8-10+ weeks after the concept presentation meeting.

After you approve the design direction and we have your feedback on our concept presentation, we get to work detailing every space and sourcing all of the finishes, fixtures, materials, and furnishings. This is reviewed with you and requested revisions are made. Then, our team puts together a detailed specifications guide for your contractor.

PROCUREMENT

TIMELINE: approximately 2 weeks from design presentation approval. Items can take a few weeks, to several months to come into our receiving warehouse depending on availability.

When the design is finalized, we will create a purchase order for your review and signature outlining all items we will be ordering on your behalf. We will track all shipments as well as the receiving of all of your items. Every week, you'll receive an Order Summary from us so you always know the status and ETA of each and every item.

BUILD OBSERVATION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Timeline is dependent on the scope of work.

We will prepare an electronic construction specifications binder for your contractor which will contain all details needed to execute our vision perfectly. During the construction phase, you can expect ongoing communication and site visits as needed to ensure our vision is coming together as planned. We're on hand throughout the entire process to answer questions and provide clarity for your general contractor and subcontractors.

INSTALLATION & STYLING

Installation is scheduled once all pieces are in. Styling is scheduled once installation is complete.

When construction is complete, our team will schedule a date for delivery and placement of your furnishings and decor. From throw pillows to artwork, we make sure everything comes together exactly as you envisioned and has the perfect finishing touches.
